Many anglers find that spin fishing is their preferred approach, as they find that the spinning lure works for them. For those who are unfamiliar with the concept of the spinning lure, it is basically one which has a piece of metal attached (referred to by some as the ‘blade’), which spins around, mimicking the movement of a small fish. This can attract many predatory fish such as pike and zander (many others too).
Blade sizes and shapes can range significantly - it all depends on the size of the fish you’re trying to catch. Some modern spinners even have two blades attached in order to further the vibration and rotation, and thereby stand a better chance of attracting the fish.
As you’ll be able to see, our selection of spinners covers a lot of different designs and colours. This is because predatory fish are extremely attracted to colourful prey fish, and will therefore be much more inclined to approach it. They range in price quite considerably due to the fact that there are some which are more complex than others and have had a more cost and labour intensive manufacturing process.
Here at Ocean Tackle Store we’ve made sure that we have many different spinning lures available, as we appreciate that many anglers out there use this type of lure, but that each one is different and requires specific types. We have spinners from your favourite brands - such as Grauvell and Mepps - so that whatever your taste, we’ve got the right one for you.
