Power Steel' ultimate strength mono is the most remarkable product Ultima have ever produced. Stronger than any other line on the market by as much as 30% and with a knot strength that delivers 100%.
 
Power Steel is smooth, silky and user friendly with an abrasion resistance that is unequalled. Power Steel is not only stronger than any other line it also has a totally different stretch curve meaning you get much less stretch as load is initially applied for braid like bite detection and hooking, but more stretch as load is increased giving plenty of give when playing fish - The perfect combination.
 
The latest materials give an abrasion resistance that is hard to believe. Ultima claim they have never had a line that has produced such phenomenal results in their lab and the practical and field test results have been just as impressive.
 
Power Steel is accurately rated for diameter as with all Ultima lines, so you can cast further than with most other lines. Power Steel is smooth, soft, supple and presents the bait perfectly. It's as user friendly as any line you'll have ever seen.
