Shipping and Taxes
Taxes
All items shown for sale on our site are priced to include all UK taxes. If you are resident outside the European Union, VAT charges will be removed at the checkout stage.
Delivery
We will despatch your
goods as soon as possible after the order has been confirmed, usually within 48 hours. We regret that once we have sent the item, we cannot guarantee the delivery time taken by the carrier. Standard delivery will be made to the address given at the time of ordering. You should ensure someone will be present to accept the delivery, or make alternative arrangements for secure delivery to be allowed.
Postage
All our items are sent by first class royal mail as standard. (UK orders only, and where weight allows) You should receive all orders within 1-3 days, however we cannot guarantee the delivery times once the goods leave our depot. If you choose an alternative delivery option at the checkout stage, the delivery time will change as shown.
You may opt to pay additional postage charges if you would like your items delivered by Next Day Special Delivery. Please note that orders must be received and confirmed before 11am for orders to be shipped by Special Delivery, and a signature will be required on receipt. While we do ensure items are with the Post Office in time to qualify for next day delivery, we cannot accept responsibility for ensuring Post Office delivery times. Please note this service is not available for fishing rods or items over 1.5 metres in length.
In order to keep postage costs as low as possible, we weigh all Goods, and your charges will be based on the weight of the items you order. Unfortunately we have to include a small charge for packaging and handling, but do our best to keep that to a minimum and will review this regularly.
Due to the length and fragile nature of fishing rods, these will be sent by parcel post or courier and there is a standard delivery charge of £9.95 per rod to UK customers. Travel rods are now exempt from this standard charge and postage will be charged based on the postal weight of the rod. Non UK customers should contact us directly before ordering a rod for a delivery quote.
