The percentage of our huge coastline covered by beaches is very small, so, logic tells you that if fish swim just as happily along a rocky coast rather than a beach then we have a great, relatively underutilised sport fishing resource along our shores.
Having said that, ‘Rock Hopping’ is a growing sport and we have an excellent range of heavy class spinning rods that can launch a lure far enough and accurately enough to reach the fish.
We also stock suitable reels with fast retrieve to bully fish away from snags.
You will also find fantastic hard & soft lures including plugs and also suitable clothing and accessories.
This is an exciting form of fishing that can be enjoyed all year round - all you need to carry with you is a rod & reel, a pocket full of lures, maybe some bait and you're off! Have Fun!!
